Stay away from Dr. Barry Reed. I had a very bad experience with him. I took my Weimaraner in for a bump on his leg. He suggested that we open the bump up and look for a for foxtail or whatever was causing the bump. I reluctantly agreed that it wasn't getting better on it's own and said yes to the minor surgery. What I picked up from him after the surgery was an atrocious job of suturing and the bump has not been "fixed" I now have a dog with a significant (2" long) scar on the front of his leg and a open sore where the bump was that will not heal. So I wasted $300 on the surgery and now have a dog with an unsightly scar right on the front of his leg. I am now searching for a competent Vet! Beware all the good vets have left Alamo Veterinary.
