Review content:
I've been taking dance lessons at SHDA for over a year now and I can only say the experience has been truly amazing. The staff is friendly and engaging, and very skilled at teaching not only the steps of the dance (foxtrot, waltz, etc) but more importantly, the feel of the dance. Dance isn't meant to be a rigid series of steps, which is what I've felt like at other places, it's meant to be a flowing movement to music with a partner. I can honestly say that before I walked in I couldn't tell a waltz song from rumba or Quickstep. Knowing the difference and knowing the steps has really boosted my confidence, and I am comfortable leading a girl to dance at weddings and other social gatherings.
