Had it not been an emergency I would have never allowed these money hungry, cold and uncaring people care for my pet. I was absolutely appalled by how "mechanical" the front staff is and that when it's an emergency you are told "it will be between $300 and $500 to start care" before they even find out what the story/problem is. I encountered that statement as well as one other person that brought her dog in for emergency care. \r The vet at first told us we could take our puppy home, however after doing xrays she stated it would be best to leave her overnight. When we asked about cost she whipped out her calculator and had an estimate that we absolutely could not afford, so we opted to take her home. Once at the front to check out, they refused to accept our check - we had no other means to pay at the time and ended up having to get a family member to give a credit card number over the phone and we paid the family member back the next day.
