Review content:
Deans seemed like a very friendly shop, but that was before they gave me my bill. My check engine light had come on. Since I do not own a diagnostic computer to check the problem, I took it to this shop to find out what was wrong. The next day they called me and explained it was the EGR system and that they recommended that I replace the whole thing. I agreed to the price of $732.88 since it sounded like it would be highly complicated and big job. \r
When I arrived to pick up my car, I looked at the bill and saw that I was charged $133.33 for the EGR valve which can easily be found for $50-80 at any autoparts store. Next, when I asked if he could show me the work that was done, he became extremely offended and argued that I was calling him a crook for simply asking to see what exactly was done. \r
Although the service was prompt and is quality work, a minor repair/replacement that would range from $300-450 ended up costing $732.88. If you don't mind being ridiculously overcharg
