I highly recommend Mongird Construction. I've had experience with several different general contractors on a variety of small to medium size home remodeling projects, and Mongird is one of the best. Mark and his staff are low key but competent and efficient, which is a very effective combination. They remodeled a bathroom, removing the old shower and floor, fixing the faulty plumbing/shower installation that had been leaking for years into the subfloor, repairing all the dry rot, and installing a new tiled shower and floor. The tiling subcontractor was a real craftsman, he did an outstandingly meticulous and neat job. The job site was cleaned up each day, and even the demolition, which is always a messy business, was quickly tidied up. Mark kept the project mostly on schedule and within budget, and was very creative about compensating for what schedule slippage there was- a temporary shower curtain wound up being installed so we could use the new bathroom over the holidays while we wa
