I recently moved to douglaston from westchester county. My neighbors all recommended Great Neck animal hospital. Let me tell you, I took my cat here & I was horrified. The place is a dump. The waiting room and whole hospital smells. The receptionists were very rude to me. I was told to see dr. brian rind, as he is the oldest and wisest veterinarian and hospital owner. Well, I think he should retire. He repeated things about 10 times, and wanted to give my cat unecessary vaccines and blood tests. He has no bedside manner either, and is extremely unprofessional. I had a few questions to ask him & he just walked away to see the next patient & ignored me. I will never be going here again! Don't listen to those reviews that say they have gone here for 30 years & it is great - Save your money & go somewhere the vet isn't senile & actually has an education.
