I will be forever grateful to VCA for saving Snowflake's life. After initially being diagnosed with Lyme Disease and on antibiotics by her primary vet, my dog developed an extremely high fever several days later. I took her to VCA as an emergency. They admitted her overnight to monitor her. I was a little worried because it would be expensive, but I wanted what was best for her. While she was there, they did an xray of her abdomen because she seemed to be a little bothered when palpated. Nothing I really noticed myself. I thought it was better to be safe than sorry even though it was going to cost more money. It turns out that there was a little something on the xray and after having it read by a radiologist, they suggested that I bring her back in for a repeat xray as well as an ultrasound just to be sure. I thought that the tests would turn out ok because she did not have a fever any more and she was acting like her normal, crazy self. I again thought about the money but knew I would
