Review content:
I accompanied my mother to her appointment for an eye exam. We were greeted nicely by one woman, given paperwork to fill out- all routine. The woman who checked us in asked if there would be another person joining us. We said no, just my mom. After waiting for 20 minutes, a different woman approached us asking when our other family member would arrive. My mother responded no, and the woman became combative and accusatory, claiming my mother made the appointment for two people. I was next to her when she made the appointment over the phone, and I know she did not . Not a huge deal, but troubling. We looked at frames while we waited to see the doctor. Then, a different woman asked my mother for her glasses. We were there because my mother's car had been vandalized and she had no glasses. Our neighbor had lent her a pair of readers that morning, but they did not help. This woman was very rude! She tried to grab the glasses out of my mother's hands. Then she made a comment like, ""I hope you will be more honest with the doctor!'. I know we should have left, but we didn't. We walked around and looked at frames. Mom picked out 2. Finally, almost 40 minutes after the appointment was supposed to start (no one ever apologized or even hinted at the wait), the woman who originally greeted us took us into an exam room and did the preliminary tests. She was thorough, efficient and friendly. (Please read PART 2)\r
