My sump pump stopped working on the weekend (although ours only is needed for the washing machine water). But we didn't want to have to miss work and have someone come out Monday, so we called them on a Sunday morning. Their yellow pages ad mentions they don't charge extra for evenings and weekends. They came out promptly and installed a new sump pump, didn't take all that long and the technician was courteous. But the price seemed very steep to me ($795), so I guess you really pay a lot to have someone come out on a Sunday, even though it may be their standard rate (so their standard rate must be very high). The labor vs parts cost was not separated on the invoice. If this happens again, we'll wait until a weekday and call someone else, simply because Aquatech's price makes me feel like I was taken advantage of.
