In response to negative reviews...\r \r This practice used to be owned by Dr.Stansell. I tried his practice a few years ago when I first moved to Calhoun. The staff was rude and I was not allowed to go back with my dog. I had questions that I couldn't get answered because everything went through the receptionist and I NEVER even meet the doctor. I never went back because of this. Then I heard that Drs. Jay and Betsy had taken over the practice and after trying all the other horrible vets in town, I tired them out. They are GREAT! My first experience with them was my beloved dog being diagnosed with cancer. They gave him and us such TLC in a very devasting situation. They helped us give him very afordable treatments that helped us have some remaining months with him. When it came time to put him down they came to our home so that he would be more comfortable and surrounded with his family. I have also taken the rest of my animals to them for check ups, emergencies, and even boa
