Last summer my beloved boxer got sick on a Sunday afternoon. I got the phone book to find a vet that may see her. I found the ad that said the Dr's had emergency service. We got her to Dr Jay and Betsy as quickly as we could, but we were too late to save her. Dr Jay was prepping her for emergency surgery and even tried CPR to save her but it was too late. They were very compassionate and it was then that I could see how dedicated they were. A few days later we even received a sympathy card from them. Since then we have acquired another dog that had a lot of "lack of care" type problems. They have treated him a few times and do very well with him. My only complaint is price, but I'm sure its competitive with other vets.
