I tell the person on the phone I need a faucet changed and I already have the faucet. She tells me it is 125 per hour labor rate.\r
The plumber shows up and tells me it is 235 for the faucet change.\r
I thought it was high but it's not my style to haggle.\r
after about an hour I hear him complaining under the sink and he tells me he just realized my hot and cold water are reversed so he has to spend more time in order to change it back since he did not realize it initially. So he has to charge me extra! I said that was your mistake and 235 for labor only to change a faucet should be plenty. then he tells me hourly rates don't apply and it is a flat rate of 295 to replace the faucet. \r
Shady company.
