Shoppers beware... My wife and I purchased two rooms of furniture at the end of January. Some of the pieces were special ordered. The sales person and manager when asked were very vague with regard to the delivery of these pieces. We just received the final pieces 7 months later! Two of the bigger pieces needed repairs. Long story short...communication was poor... We were told that the salesperson would keep us posted on the progress. This never happened! We received notification our furniture was in when it wasn't. One of the couches was ordered incorrectly. We had 1/2 of a sectional for 12 weeks. There isn't enough space to write everything that went wrong. Interestingly enough, we never received a sales satisfaction survey but received surveys after every delivery as the pieces came in on the contracted men they used to deliver the furniture. We don't recommend you purchase furniture from American. Let's face it.. there are many options out there.
