I brought my cat to Dr. Landefeld for many years. In her older age she developed a breast tumor which Dr. Landefeld removed. The tumor returned within a year and I decided to get a second opinion. After reviewing the records from Feline Vet Hospital along with the biopsy results from the lab, my new vet concluded that she clearly had not removed all the margins of the tumor. What is worse is that had she done the surgery right the first time, it may have prevented further spreding of the cancer. \r
Two surgeries and a total mastectomy later my cat was in good shape, no thanks to the feline veterinary hospital. I had a few more good, healthy years with her that I may not have had if I didn't seak a second opinion. \r
Do your research people! Make sure your vet goes to constant continuing education seminars. Just because they got their license from a reputable college back in the 70's and 80's does not make them good veterinarians today. The world of veterinary science is always changing a
