There is no question that Dr. Landefeld is one of the most compassionate and qualified vets around. I have 6 cats and would not bring them to any other cat doctor. She has treated my cats for a variety of conditions from general check-ups to surgery. Never have I had a problem. I would highly recommend this veterinery office. The staff is friendly and genuinely cares about animals. Her pricing is fair given she only treats cats, unlike other animals hospitals who treat various animals. In one instance I needed to repeat a urine test for one of my cats and the doctor did not charge me for the second test. To the reviewers who say their experience was horrible and unscrupulous...be careful. The vet you are using now is human too and will error. more

Wow! A few of the reviews of Dr. Landefeld here are proof that people who review businesses online often have major axes to grind. Well, I always make it a point of reviewing great businesses I've encountered because,sadly, the 1 or 2 disgruntled customers are often the only ones who speak up. Well, I would like to say that these few negative reviews are nothing compared to the thousands of people and cats who love Dr. Landefeld and who would not dream of taking their cats anywhere else. My husband & I have been taking our assorted and beloved cats to Dr. Landefeld since the late 80's. Our own children now bring their cats to this practice & over the years we have referred at least 9 or 10 friends to see Dr. Landefeld and across the board I've never heard a complaint from one of them. I have been bringing my cats to this practice for years and years, since before even Dr. Landefeld became owner. She has been tending to our cats for 25+ years and I trust her implicitly. We board our cats, we have trusted her care and expertise with cats who were the picture of health and cats who were senior citizens with every health issue in the book. Regardless of the cat's age and health, Dr. Landefeld is a consummate professional. Where else do you get a call back even on a Sunday when the clinic is closed? She has returned our calls on Saturday evenings when I know office hours end around 2 PM. For anyone who has gone there and gets a feeling like she's trying to pad her bills or overcharge for medication etc.- these people are clearly the kind of people who won't ever be happy and don't know the meaning of the word "satisfied". I brought my cat to Dr. Landefeld for many years. In her older age she developed a breast tumor which Dr. Landefeld removed. The tumor returned within a year and I decided to get a second opinion. After reviewing the records from Feline Vet Hospital along with the biopsy results from the lab, my new vet concluded that she clearly had not removed all the margins of the tumor. What is worse is that had she done the surgery right the first time, it may have prevented further spreding of the cancer. \r Two surgeries and a total mastectomy later my cat was in good shape, no thanks to the feline veterinary hospital. We have dealt with Feline Vet Hosp for over 25 years, and have been very satisfied with the care and treatment that our cats have received, as well as with the professionalism of Dr. Landefeld and her staff. With her help and guidance, we just celebrated the 19th birthday of one of our three cats. Have brought my cat there several times over the past year. They perform checkups, surgery, and general boarding.\r \r Wouldn't bring my pet anywhere else. I brought my cat to a different vet and he used a noose to remove my cat from her transport cage much to my dismay and horror. My cat has been going there for almost 10 years and I always felt that the vet was very businesslike and caring (and always full of compliments for the beauty of my cat). I had a disastrous experience several months ago and held off writing a review until I was more reasonable. My cat had an injury and stayed over night there and the vet gave me a call to ask for prior approval for blood testing and to give him an aspirin. After so many years of care, I trusted they were the best things for my cat. She had also sold me Cosequin (to help with joints) to help him in his recovery. I got him home and he proceeded to vomit six times- and I called them right up and left a message on their machine. I was so panicked that I began searching Cosequin online to see if this was the cause and I saw that the product I had bought for $40 at this vet was actually sold for $17-20. This made a red flag go up. I know vets need to make a profit but considering at the lower price there is probably more
