First, their front office staff is rude in person and over the phone. I had been taking my cats there for a few years, but when my male had an emergency urinary block the office staff literally hung up on me. After the emergency clinic visit to fix the problem, he was moved to Joshua Animal Clinic for his follow up care. They charged me double their estimate (we are talking $500 more than what they told me!). They gave him medications that he didn't need, aren't recommended by top professionals, and got very snooty and condescending with me when I asked why. Essentially they were using every excuse possible to charge me more. When I talked with the vet on the phone explaining that I could only pick him up the next day (after two days in the clinic) she told me "Oh, that will be no problem." failing to mention that they were going to charge me an extra $200 for the 12 hrs more he was in their cage.
