No, this is not the Mayo Clinic for pets. That being said, I have found the Veterinarians and staff at this Banfield to be professional and caring. This is a very busy clinic, but you can walk in and almost always be seen. They will always see your pet if it is an emergency. I adopted a dog who turned out to have heart worm. The staff at this Banfield got us both through the illness and my dog went on to live several more years. As far as fees are concerned, I now have a dog who it turns out has Lupus. I took him to both Banfield and Alameda East (you know the Animal Planet Vet). Was the care better at Alameda East? Yes. The cost was also significantly higher. If expense is not a concern I recommend Alameda East. If you are unable to afford the absolute best this Aurora Banfield is a reasonable alternative. Some reviewers have expressed outrage at being charged for the Wellness Plan after a pet passes away. This is heart wrenching, but it is also clearing spelled out in the plan detai
