Dr. Saslow is truly the BEST vet in the business today! Besides his kind, caring and compassionate demeanor, he truly loves his profession and the animals. He takes all of time needed to talk to you and explain in layman terms, exactly what is happening to your beloved family member. I have not been to the hospital with my dogs since I moved 100 miles away however, although that has been 9 years ago (!), I still recommend him to anyone living within the 5 boroughs or Long Island...even upstate like me if they're willing to make the trip! He saved my dog's life and I will be forever grateful to him...she is still going strong! Yes, he IS more expensive than most, but soooooo worth it! When in crisis, I would not hesitate to make the trip with any pet...he can diagnose and treat when all others have failed!
