I used to take my parrot here, but not anymore! Although the vet is a nice guy, he is extremely overpriced. I used to board my bird there for $6.00 a night, which wasn't too bad. But one time I came to pick him up after being away for two weeks and the prices went up $2.00 a night. What upset me was that I was not told of the price change until after I returned from my vacation. When I pointed out that I felt I should have been told beforehand, the vet said the best he could do was charge me 10% less. I thought that was a bad business practice because he just should have charged me the $6.00 a night. Now because of this, I never bring my parrot there again. Oh, and another thing. He charged me $20.00 to cut my bird's nails and wings, and his wings were cut so crooked, he looked lopsided. Now I board my bird at Exotics Aviary in Hallandale. They charge only $3.00 a night for boarding and $5.00 to cut my bird's nails and wings (they do a great job with his grooming). PROS: CONS: The h
