Review content:
I have used Lloyd's AMC for many years for my cats as have several of my friends, including a local cat shelter I am involved with. I have seen 3 vets there. Dr. Cris is very honest and down to earth and will not push anyone to have tests or treaments if it will not clearly benefit the animal. Dr. Clark is also excellent and wrote me the most compassionate note when I had to have a cat euthanized last year. Dr. Mallock was amazing when my senior cat was very sick with pancreatitis--he made the diagnosis as soon as he looked at him, started treating him before the tests came back, and the cat was as good as new in a few days. He also gave me some of the services free of charge. I agree that Lloyd's can be pricey but no more than VCA or most of the other large vets. I'm sure that being a vet is much more difficult than being a doctor for humans--your patients can't tell you where it hurts and their survival instinct makes animals very adept at hiding their illnesses.
