I recently moved and the Banfield on Oregon Ave turned out to be the closest vet to me, plus they had free exam fees on Tues and Thurs, so I figured I would try them out. The first 2 times I brought my dog and cat there I had a female vet who was very friendly, and interacted with me and my pets very well. The prices were a little high (almost $40 to express anal glands?) but I was happy that I found a vet that had a good connection with my pets and explained things well to me (4 star rating for you!).I've been back several times after my initial visits and haven't had the female vet again. Instead, I was stuck with 2 male Indian doctors, who barely even looked at my pets, let alone acted friendly with them. They spent most of there time staring at their computer screen, and were not in the LEAST bit friendly with me.They didn't ask me what I wanted to do, or explain options to me. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. Its one thing to not have a good bed-side manner with people.
