I've had nearly the exact same experiences as the "Not Up To Par" post. The last two times I took my cat, the doctors were unfriendly and did not address all of my concerns. The thing that really got me was the last time I took my cat (he was unwell), he was taken into the back and given shots - without my knowledge or consent. I had to ask "what took so long?" before the doctor explained that he had given my cat all of his routine shots. Being poked with needles is probably not the best thing for a stressed, sick cat. The last think that really upset me was the special diet food my cat was prescribed for his sickness. I told another vet (where my other cats go, and where this cat is going to start going) about the mixture of foods the cat was perscribed, and she informed me that they are NEVER supposed to be taken together.
