I got a recommendation for this vet when my guinea pig was sick a year ago. I had first taken him to a more "country" vet- they were friendly and cheap but told me my guinea pig had diabetes and there was nothing I could do. I didn't believe he had diabetes. At White Rock Dr. Pagel found a bacterial infection through a simple fecal sample, and even showed me what it looked like through the microscope. After treatment my piggie was better the next week.\r \r Now my geriatric guinea pig has a neurological problem, and I called Dr. Pagel with a question about a symptom about 10 mins before their office closed. Sarah at the desk told me that she was with a patient and may not be able to get back to me. Well at about 6:15 Dr. Pagel called me back from her cell phone on the way to a dinner.
