Review content:
I had been going to VCA for years and always felt Dr. Elliot was one of the best surgeons in town and from what I have heard from locals, he is. However, when it comes to atypical disease processes, the team of vets at VCA are average to poor in diaganosing and managing long-term and difficult diseases. This is a big emergency clinic (5 vets) and their focus is really getting things done quickly and efficiently rather then taking the time to deal with complex diseases. For standard or emergency care VCA might be just fine but if you are a dog owner who includes your pets as part of the family, I would suggest you find a vet who is able to take the time to put you and your pet in front of the line. PROS: Good quick standard or basic care. CONS: Poor w/high maintenance or challenging disease processes.
