VCA hospital put my elderly dog through traumatic surgeries that I later found out my dog did not need considering cancer was normal for this age, and as long as he was eating, sleeping, drinking, getting up fine, walking and was in good spirits, then he would be fine. VCA made major mistakes on the surgery of my dog, where they had to perform two additional surgeries to fix their mistakes in which they charged me for as well. Additionally, they did not give other options that they knew were more affordable and less traumatic for my dog, even when asked for. Then, my dog had minor fractures in which VCA again did not give all options available. When I specifically asked for other options, the nurse denied what she said about no alternative choices, even though I had two witnesses who heard her very clearly.
