Dr. Brooks at Lakeside failed to diagnose my dog with mange (a communicable disease). In my opinion, it was a combination of laziness and ego on his part. Dr. Brooks even got irritated with me when I persisted in trying to get help for my dog. I ultimately diagnosed my dog by myself researching her symptoms on the internet (funny how he could not have done this!). His failure to diagnose my dog caused horrible discomfort to my dog, placed my family's health at risk, and ultimately wasted our time and money, not to mention caused great heartache. Worse yet, follow up calls to him for advice were unanswered and a follow up letter to the firm requesting a refund for substandard service was not responded to. I am sure you value your pets and your family. Please take your pets to a reputable and professional vet in the area, not to this horrible place!
