On the recommendation of my aunt, I purchased a refurbished stacked washer/dryer unit from Hawkins & Sons four months ago. So far, it is running great, looks and functions like new and it was less than half the price ($350) of a similar new unit. The delivery guys were great - got it up three stories using tiny, narrow hallways with limited maneuverability on a snowy winter day. They had it hooked up, trained me on how to maintain the machine and were gone super quick. I love it and just wish they has refurbished air conditioners in stock!
