I must say that I have been a client with VCA Newark since 1995 or so. We have used them for each of our cats and we have had only one complaint about the service that we received in all of that time. We voiced our complaint at the time and the office manager worked with us to resolve the issue (pricing misunderstanding). We have used them to treat cats with cardiomyopathy (heart enlargement & blood clots), cancer, renal failure, heart murmurs, miscellaneous cuts from fights, food sensitivities, and kidney/bladder stones. Throughout all of the issues that we have brought to them at all times of the day and night, the staff has been caring and up-front. Pricing has been open, honest, and fair and the treatment has been top-notch. On those occasions where the doctors at VCA Newark have been overmatched by what our cats have presented them, they have not been afraid to refer us to other specialty units, such as VSCD or U.Penn.
