Roto-Rooter provides quality services, with employees who take pride in the work they do. On Saturday, July 3, 2010 we called Roto-Rooter to repair a clogged drain. While preparing the night before for a party, our kitchen sink became clogged by placing potato skins in the garbage disposal. I called at 9am and by 11am they had a technician at our home. We had 35 guests arriving at 2pm and we were preparing for their arrival, washing dishes in the tub. We were informed by Joe Sewar, our service technician that skins of any sort should not be put in the garbage disposal due to their ability to clog drains. It took Joe 2 hours to clear the clogged drain because the clog was not in the main trap. We had a suspicion that there was a log standing clog in that drain due to prior small backups in the drain in the past. The potato skins were the last straw that completed the clog.
