After careful review, we may remove content or replace a content warning page before
viewing content deemed offensive, harmful, or dangerous.
Additionally, we are aware that there may be content on Judy's Book that is personal
in nature or feels invasive. Please note that Judy's Book is a provider of content

but we don't make any claims about the content of these pages. We strongly believe
in freedom of expression, even if a review contains unappealing or distasteful

Emergency medicine is expensive whether it is for humans or animals. \r

We try very hard to inform potential clients and clients of the expected costs for each and every visit. \r
\r
We inform phone callers of our $80 examination fee, that we will prepare an estimate for diagnostics and treatments and are very up front about the fact that we do not offer deferred billing (except via Care Credit). \r

We always offer what we think is the best treatment plan. \r
\r
A pet sent for surgery may not be stable enough to have surgery.\r
\r
A pet sent for medical management may have changes in his condition that requires a recommendation of surgery. \r
\r
If our best plan is not acceptable, we offer plan B, C, D, E, etc. until we reach an agreement with the person that presented the pet for care. \r

We only do what the actual owner of the pet authorizes- this can leave family members that were not present at the time of the treatment plan preparation upset if the agreement is not what they wante
