Review content:
One evening my dog started showing symptoms of a fever with chills and lathargy. I took him to VCA for the first time. I had to wait in the waiting room for approximately 1.5 hours which I somewhat expected considering it is an emergency hospital. However, I was charged from the moment I walked in the door. So they ended up charging me to sit in the waiting room with my dog while we waited for a Dr. I of course fought this charge. Once we were finally in a room and they did an exam they basically gave me every possibility of illness under the sun. They recommended he stay overnight and run tests in the morning. I made the decision to do so knowing how much it was going to cost. They told me more than likely my vet would recommend we come back there for tests. Big mistake. \r
