I have been a Hillcrest client for 15 years and have worked primarily with either Dr Long or Dr Wimmer--both of whom are superb surgeons that have done orthopedic surgery, spay/neuters, dental extractions, and c sections for me over the years. I am very pleased with their work as well as their follow up care post surgery.\r

A few months ago, a friend came upon a min pin in the middle of the road that had been hit by a car and left to die on a Saturday morning. My friend scooped up the dog and took it to another clinic in town. The clinic did xrays and blood work to a total of $900 but said that no one could perform surgery until Wednesday of the following week, and the dog would need to be on IV fluids in the meantime--to a tune of yet another $500. This vet quoted the cost of surgery to be $1300.\r

When I learned of this on Monday morning, I went with the friend to pick up the dog and immediately take it to Hillcrest. Dr Long immediately took the dog in for surgery to repair th
