I would rate this practice 10 stars if I could. On Christmas morning we rushed Oscar, my beloved 10-year-old diabetic bichon, here a week after emergency bladder surgery at another local vet. It had been a very difficult week for him and his recovery was going very poorly; unable to eat much or keep down the medications prescribed (with not much help from that vet either, but that's another story). By the time we got to the emergency clinic, he was in a very bad way--seriously dehydrated and, it turned out, in end-stage renal failure (kidneys) and had developed pancreatitis. This is not a story that ends well, sad to say. But the vets and entire staff at the clinic couldn't have been nicer or more caring or understanding when we brought him in, and he received the very best of care while he was there.
