Unsure really. What concerned me was that my cat was diagnosed in another room without my being present. They seem very high, at least higher than my vet but they are open 24 hours - 7 days a week. It's emergency care.\r \r They seem a little more interested in their profits and I didn't get a normal sense of compassion for my pet as when I take him to our regular vet in Huntley.\r \r I could not afford to keep my pet alive and had to put him down instead. My choice.\r \r I do believe these vets need to tone down their expenses and get back to the cause of affordable realistic levels of care of a pet or a lot more owners will be having to make the decision I had to make.\r \r Not many people have thousands of dollars available to save a cat and I'm not so sure it should cost that much to insert a tube and run an IV. Hopefully I'm not out of line here.
