Our dog was critically ill for 2 months. He was lethargic, not eating or drinking, pacing for hours at a time and then collapasing from exhaustion, he seemed confused, disorientated, at times not even able to stand on his own.\r
Our vet put him on antibiotics, he got better for a few days and then regressed back again, even worse.\r
This went on for weeks, sick-medicine-better-then sick again.\r
At wits end we started searching the internet for some kind of answer. We can upon Dr. Derfuss.\r
She talked to us for a 1/2 hour and agreed to see him. She examined & palpated every inch of his body, thoroughly examining him, x-rays, urinalysis, tested brain functions, reflects, hooked him up to IVs.\r
Dr. Derfuss & her techs spent all afternoon with us, working professionally & compassionately.\r
She prescribed meds, called to check on us in the following days, adjusting meds & giving advice, put herself on call 24-7.\r
Dr. Derfuss litterally gave our dog a new life, she is a highly dedicated & c
