Review content:
I was taking care of a stray that had been dumped by my house and took her into VCA to have her spayed and a couple teeth pulled since she had been hit by a car previously. I also signed a release for them to ultrasound her. They told me she was probably only about a year to 18 months old and also checked for a spay scar but didn't see or feel one so proceeded with the spay. They didn't call until time to pick her up and when I did go to get her they said when they got inside her they found out she had ALREADY been spayed. HELLO? didn't you ultrasound her first? Wasn't that the point? She ended up with a larger than normal incision because they were "searching" around for her girl parts when I thought they should have been able to tell before hand since they did an ultrasound! They should have called me and let me know what was going on too. They did not give her enough pain medicine as she was clearly crying in pain and I asked them for something stronger they said to wait unt
