After we had been taking our cats for 3 years to Adobe Animal Hospital in Los Altos (where we had several bad experiences (I will write a review for them separately) and they told us that we should consider putting our 19.5 year old cat down within the next two days if the prednisone they gave us would not improve his health, we went to El-Camino Hospital for a second opinion. \r

The vet there had so many ideas on how to improve his health. (We were not looking to extend the cat's life but rather make him comfortable at the end of his life). He gave him a shot of vitamin B-12 as well as some vitamin (val) mix, nutrical (dense nutrition that we could give him that would be enough for a day if he would not eat), special foods and he told us to double the amount of liquid Adobe had told us to give him. We followed his advice and from not being able to walk our cat within a 3-4 days was jumping from lap to lap licking whipped cream off our fingers while we had guests over. Our cat got 3 m
