EXCELLENT!!! 10/31/2011

This place pretty much saved me my sanity. I have a 2 year old English Bulldog, and he has always been a pain when it comes to taking care of him. But this dog is like my kid so I'll do anything for him.\r Last month, he had a massive sore opened up under his chin; he was itching and whining all night! I remembered a friend telling me about El Camino Animal Hospital and how satisfied they were with Dr. Agramonte. I called, got a same day appointment, and took him in. The doctor did a once over and presented me with my options. Very direct, he didn't try to swindle me into anything unnecessary. He was very positive about Hurley's overall prognosis, which put me at ease. Dr. Agramonte helped me in a pinch and eased my worries about my boy. I will be returning to him for any future problems. more

My Animals Like to Go To This Vet 11/21/2007

I also had a year of negative experiences with Adobe before I came to El Camino. The focus at El Camino is on the animal, rather than you. The important thing for me is that my animals are well cared for, so El Camino is the place for me. I appreciate being informed of what else I can do to protect their health. Great place to board. The staff is always extremely cooperative. Prices are reasonable. more

Very very pleased with their service 7/31/2007

After we had been taking our cats for 3 years to Adobe Animal Hospital in Los Altos (where we had several bad experiences (I will write a review for them separately) and they told us that we should consider putting our 19.5 year old cat down within the next two days if the prednisone they gave us would not improve his health, we went to El-Camino Hospital for a second opinion. \r \r The vet there had so many ideas on how to improve his health. (We were not looking to extend the cat's life but rather make him comfortable at the end of his life). He gave him a shot of vitamin B-12 as well as some vitamin (val) mix, nutrical (dense nutrition that we could give him that would be enough for a day if he would not eat), special foods and he told us to double the amount of liquid Adobe had told us to give him. We followed his advice and from not being able to walk our cat within a 3-4 days was jumping from lap to lap licking whipped cream off our fingers while we had guests over. Our cat got 3 m more

This place is a waste if your time 7/19/2007

Instead of informing me about my dog , The vet proceeded to address me in a negative way about brushing my dogs teeth .l told him several times that i had just adopted my dog. He was rude and uniformative. I was left waiting for a half an hour in a small room without being informed about anything. He is on the page at the spca as a free vett check , he made me feel as though i wasn't paying so he could not be bothered . His staff are snappy and act annoyed that they are even helping you . more

Great Vet 6/26/2006

Nice vet. Knowledgeable staff. They made traveling out of the country with my cat a breeze. That is saying something!!! The hospital is also very clean and modern looking. I highly recommend them. PROS: clean hospital, easy parking, reasonable prices CONS: I didn't find any! more

this guy likes animals, and knows a lot 5/11/2006

This Vet's office is one of those places where the Dr. remembers your pet's name immediately, and then has to ask "What was your name again?" They were very helpful and informative about my cat's care. They also take care of dogs. more

At least the waiting room is not busy 11/22/2005

The vet has no personality and is even hostile at times. You may want to get a second opinion before you go with anything other than the standard, required vaccinations. I will be finding another place for my dog. PROS: Some of the front desk people are polite CONS: more

A Vet for Golden Retriever owners! 6/7/2005

I experienced ;less tthan satisfactory service here. I was left waiting in a treatment room for 30 minutes with my dog with no explanation from staff, clearly forgotten about. Rescheduled and found Vet gave perfunctory exam and was not inclined toward small dogs. PROS: Lots of parking. CONS: Inexperienced receptionists, hurried Vet. more
