If this is the best Italian in town, it makes me wonder about the other places. Maybe it's because we went on July 4th, but I had a very disappointing experience. Tep's was totally packed, mostly with large family groups, so service was slow. The tables are very close to each other, which was a little uncomfortable.\r
I got the Veal Saltimbocca. Well, the sauce was very tasty, however the veal itself I had to struggle hard to cut and it had quite a bit of gristle throughout, which at $18, should not have been the case. It came with a tiny bowl of spaghetti marinara, which was badly overcooked, watery, and the marinara was flavorless. Food portions were a little small. The salad bar had tasty options, but it was dirty, with lots of poorly washed and bruised lettuce. They ran out of tiramisu, which just might have saved the experience, just before we ordered.
