I was immediately turned off upon entry to this bridal shop (I visited Jan 2003). The saleswoman approached me and asked if I was the bride. Having been newly engaged and arriving at my first dress place of the day, I happily said yes! She then asked what styles I liked, and we proceeded to the size street clothes I wear (for those who are new to this: wedding dresses can be 5-6 sizes larger than your "street clothes"). Before I could reply, the charming sales lady said "I bet you must wear at least a size 12 street clothes". Nope, sorry I wear a 4. Nice try though... Not being able to let this drop, the charming sales lady said "are you sure?" Well, I do dress myself daily, so I bet I do know what size I wear! That being put behind me, I made my way to dress-land to pick out some dresses to choose from. 20 dresses, me and my mom piled into the smallish fitting room.
