My first experience with the hygienists was all right, nothing stellar but certainly friendly and fine. Dr. Taylor was friendly and kind to my boys. The next visit required actual dental work. I was furious when I left. I had been treated rudely by the dental assistant who worked with one of my sons, and he was in tears and not being treated compassionately by the same assistant. I just about packed us up to see someone else for the remainder of my boys' dental work. However, my other son came out smiling and happy as can be, and Dr. Gierke was very compassionate and caring. So I wrote a letter. It was received by Dr. Gierke with great concern. I decided to continue with my sons' care at this office given the response I received. I couldn't be more pleased. I have been assured the dental assistant with whom I had issues would not have any future contact with my children and that the issue had been addressed with her, and each visit since the initial problem visit has been very positive
