A month ago my house burned down in the middle of the night, Buddy and I got out of the house with all but nerves intact. By 8:00 AM it was 90 degrees out; and the AC in my vehicle wasn't working. I took Buddy for a swim at the local lake to cool down; incidentally as we were leaving I got a flat tire. After an hour or so at the auto repair shop we were going back to the lake as the temp was now 101 degrees and climbing. \r
I got the great idea of taking him to PetCo; they let dogs in the store and have a grooming service. I spoke with the manager and told her my story and asked if they would "groom" and kennel my Labrador for 2-3 hours. I of course told them I would pay for the grooming even tho no trim was needed. Sorry, against store policy......... I was screaming pissed; to say the least.\r
I drove to Povar Animal hospital; and they immediately rushed my dog in for a check-up. Once it was determined he was fine, they offered to kennel Buddy until I could secure a place for us to sl
