Review content:
I am writing this review to improve the chances that this will not happen to another family who trusts a veterinarian. Over time I thought the sting of this experience would lessen. My only regret is that I did not do more to make an impact for future pet owners.\r
I enrolled in the wellness program at Banfield in Dothan, AL when I got my puppy. The staff was very nice and Dr Sonmor very kind to my adorable puppy. She received routine care with vaccinations. Everything went well for about a year. I received a notice that it was time for her annual check-up so I took her in. Her blood work was perfect and she was deemed in perfect health by Dr. Sonmor. A few days later, I received a notice she needed her vaccinations. It was 10 days after the check-up. She received 3 scheduled vaccines that day. 3 days later, she appeared to be very ill....wasn't eating, vomiting. She became listless and her tongue and ears were almost colorless. \r
I took her in to see a befuddled Dr. Sonmor
