First let me say that I ordinarily HATE car shopping! I went to Car Max of Greensboro roughly two weeks ago after having seen 3 cars online that were in their lot. The sales people (Kenna and Phillip) were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Because salespeople at Car Max are on salary (rather than commission), there is no pressure. I narrowed my choice to two vehicles but had trouble making up my mind. Philip was pleasant and patient and understood that choosing a car is a big decision for me because I'm someone who will keep it until it pretty much dies.\r
I finally chose the 2006 Volkswagon Beetle in near-perfect condition. The price was right (I'd comparison shopped online), and it had all the features I wanted. I was able to get my financing right there. \r
The next day, while they were doing a last-minute check on my new car, I was making arrangements to sell them my 11 year old, 213k mile piece of crap. They gave me a fair price and handed me a cashier's check then and t
