Review content:
My dog had a seizure for the first time ever yesterday afternoon and I wanted a vet to see her as quickly as possible. My usual vet that I've used my whole life is about 30 minutes away (I just moved to Shawnee), but I knew this animal hospital was just a couple of blocks away from my house, so I took her there hoping they could have someone look at her asap and make sure she was going to be okay. My dog is literally like a child to me and seeing her like that freaked me out big time, so I showed up there sobbing and looking like a complete mess, but the receptionist was completely understanding and kind and got me into an exam room right away to fill out some basic paper work while the vet finshed with the appointment she was with at the time. I only had to wait about 10 minutes to see her and was happy to find that she was extremely gentle with my dog and very friendly and reassuring to me that she was going to be okay. She filled me in on what to do in the future if it should happen
