We have been taking our "furry family of four" to Banfield since March 2008. Dr. Dunning and Dr. Matthews were both wonderful vets. However, since they both left, Banfield's service has suffered. \r

They claim to be "Banfield - The Pet Hospital." In May 2011, we encountered a case of Pyometra with our lab. She almost died and the only thing "Banfield - The Pet Hospital" did was take $250 worth of x-rays and refer us to an actual pet hospital. We had an absolutely amazing experience at Veterinary Referral Hospital of Hickory and I am happy to report our lab is doing well now. \r

However, Banfield didn't even follow-up to see if our lab lived. I went back to Banfield 10 days after surgery to discuss special food for our lab (sensative post-surgery stomach), since Banfield was our regular vet. Two different Banfield staff told me that because they didn't perform the surgery, they wouldn't be able to talk to me about our dog's food. I explained that the vet ER that performed th
