Review content:
One would assume with low class sizes that a school could accomodate the needs of all students who are admitted. Unfortunately, this is not the case at Galloway. I was told this directly by my child's teacher. Lower school teachers have little authority to do what they feel is best for the child. Either a child is capable of going at the extremely fast pace that is set or the child is left behind. Instruction is not individualized and instruction does not occur in flexible homogeneous groupings. The entire emphasis is on gettting to the end of the book as quickly as possible so they can move on to the next level book. This is poor instruction. \r

The school is HIGHLY competitive! Everything is a contest or about a contest. My child is so stressed out that they cry almost weekly about their work. I feel the school is robbing my child of their childhood. If your child is gifted (ALREADY) you will probably have a positive experience at Galloway; however, if you are expecting the school
