After being burdened by unnecessary testing on our dogs for 8 years, we finally found a great vet and left this one. Now, 2 years later we get nailed again in an emergency situation! My husband had to take one dog in since this is the closest vet to the house and the dog was having multiple seisures. $400 later, we spent $218 on the actual seisure-related testing and the rest on heartworm, fecal, and cataract testing! My husband did not understand what he was agreeing to when advised of these tests by the vet, he just wanted the dog treated for its immediate problems. I am shocked that a vet would take advantage of a pet owner this way.
