Being a big fan Indian food, I've been to quite a few Indian restaurants in San Diego including others in Hillcrest & Downtown, & have to say this one is probably the best one in San Diego. It's on market street and 4th in the gaslamp, but the food at Royal India is very flavorful and delicious. I heard making good curry takes lot of time and skill because it take lot of different spices to make good curry and Royal India stands above all others.\r \r It's near the convention center and horton plaza in down town and I would recommend to park in horton plaza ans walk from there to the market street.\r \r I highly recommend Royal India for a romantic dinner and sit next to the water fall.
