My opinion of Arboretum View Animal Hospital is:\r -The well-being of my dog was not their primary concern. \r -They pronounced a visibly swollen paw healed at a follow up visit. \r -They charged excessively, trying to pad the bill in every way possible. \r Also, I was not taken to an exam room until 45 minutes after my appointment time ? and then only when I notified the front desk that I had to leave within in the next 45 minutes.\r My experience: Initially Dr. Lasiter prescribed an antibiotic for my dog?s inflamed paw. He explained that a painful, expensive surgery could or should be considered ? putting adjustable pins into the bones to realign them. This to fix a swollen paw, I asked? My dog is over 10 years old and she has arthritis in the ?elbow?, but she has little trouble getting around. I told him we were not going to put her thru that, not to mention the expense.
